Ocean Blue heads north for frosty campaign with Sickdogwolfman

Smoked salmon brand Ocean Blue has enlisted a pair of Norwegian fishermen to front a campaign that celebrates its product and the icy waters it’s sourced from.
The platform builds upon the brand’s “From the Coldest Waters of Norway” positioning, which it launched in 2023 using the phrase, “The colder the water, the better the salmon”.
It features a set of films centring on fishermen Hans and Lars. Developed by independent agency Sickdogwolfman, with help from Swedish production company Giants and Toys, the films all use witty humour to emphasise the frigid temperatures of Norway’s waters. They link it to Ocean Blue’s salmon, driving home the message that the brand’s fish is top quality because of its source.
