
Paramount Australia announces new commercial partnerships director role

Paramount Australia has unveiled the long-time media sales expert who will fill the new position of commercial partnerships director- ad sales Sydney.
On Monday, the company confirmed Travis Kirk – Paramount’s group sales manager – agency – for the position. In his role, Kirk will oversee the entire sales cycle to strengthen the organisation’s “premium sponsorship revenue streams” for its digital media (Paramount+ and 10 Play) and broadcast (Network 10) platforms.
With a particular focus on the Sydney market, Kirk is expected to foster and maintain agency and client relationships, along with “spearhead[ing] Sydney sponsorship responses”. He will also be utilising Paramount ANZ Brand Studio to “streamlin[e] integrated linear and digital ideas”.

Paramount ANZ’s chief sales officer, Rod Prosser, explained that the media giant was motivated to create a position that would allow it to maximise the value of its cross-platform solutions for clients.

According to Prosser, Kirk’s involvement is a testament to his expertise and leadership, making him the perfect choice to kick off the position as the company moves forward.

Kirk is no stranger to Paramount, having worked there for over five years in the above mentioned group sales manager – agency role. His career within the Paramount/Network 10 ecosystem began in March 2014, where he served as a sales intern at Network 10’s Brisbane office for six months before moving to Sydney to serve as an agency sales assistant within the Sydney office.
While progressing through the ranks, 2017 saw him become the youngest group sales manager Network 10 had ever seen at 25 years old.
Kirk also completed internships and work experience at News Corp Australia and Nine, respectively.
