Perth radio ratings: 96 FM continues to build audience share in breakfast as Botica’s Bunch for Breakfast takes the helm
GfK radio ratings survey five has seen Australian Radio Network (ARN)’s 96 FM make significant inroads on its breakfast share in Perth, climbing 1.3 percentage points to 8.4%.
Midway through this survey the station axed its breakfast duo of Paul Hogan and Lisa Fernandez (Paul and Lise) to replace them with Fred Botica and Lisa Shaw’s Botica’s Bunch for Breakfast. Hogan and Fernandez were on air during the first portion of the survey (26 May to 29 June), while Botica and Shaw aired from 14 July to 17 August.
There should be a complete change to all announcers at the ABC Perth. Perhaps keep Geoff Hutchinson. The breakfast duo are so boring it’s hard for me to keep awake.

I agree with Jymmi re the Breakfast session on ABC. Woolfy is fine; that girl constantly interrupts him and on air guests, can be rude and actually is superfluous. Just let Woolfie do the job on his own, as he has done previously. He’s a professional.
Why no Curtin FM Radio 100.1 in the rating?
