Qantas tops latest YouGov Biggest Brand Movers list

Qantas has taken the crown in the latest YouGov Biggest Brand Movers list.
Topping the list for January, Qantas made gains in six metrics across two categories Brand Perception (General Impression, Corporate Reputation, Customer Satisfaction, Recommendation, Quality) and Purchase Funnel (Consideration).
The Biggest Brand Movers list is derived from YouGov’s brand tracker, BrandIndex, is a monthly reporting series which ranks the top 10 brands that have registered the most statistically significant month-on-month upticks in consumer perception, according to 13 key metrics.
YouGov has attributed Qantas’ win to its recently revamped frequent flyer program, a strategy to boost loyalty among its members and increase revenue.
Commonwealth Bank was second, also growing in six metrics across Media and Communications (Buzz), Brand Perception (General Impression, Customer Satisfaction, Recommendation, Consideration), and Purchase Funnel (Purchase Intent).
Instagram was in a close third, with a clean sweep across the Purchase Funnel metrics, and two Media and Communications upticks.
Guzman y Gomez and Shopify came in fourth and fifth for January, each making gains in five metrics.
Mastercard, Suzuki, James Boag’s, Google, and Dan Murphy’s round out the top ten.
Other brands that have topped the list include CommBank, Corona, Singapore Airlines, Hisense, Budweiser, Europcar and QBE Insurance.
