Quiip launches insights offering Quillion, signing on Sydney Writer’s Festival
Social media and online community management company Quiip has launched Quillion, a social media monitoring and measurement offering designed to complement the company’s existing online management and moderation services.
Speaking to Mumbrella, Quiip general manager Julie Delaforce described Quillion as a “one part listening and analytics tools and another part data wrangling”.
“The main ingredient is Quiip’s team of community managers. Our team apply their extensive experience and working knowledge of online audience to build insightful reports that brands can use to action changes to their social media, marketing and business initiatives to achieve critical objectives,” Delaforce said.

So it looks like Quiillion uses nuvi.com for monitoring. Is there any extra tech operated by Quiip, or are the team more focused on getting insights and building the reports?
Hi Tim – Thanks for the question.
Quiillion is platform agnostic. We have a current subscription to Nuvi for listening and can sign clients up to it. We’ve also used BrandWatch, Radian 6 and Crimson Hexagon for listening for clients that already have a tool in place. We’ve used Social Status and Zuum for analytics and can likewise identify an analytics tool appropriate for the need.
Tools can only do so much. Quiillion isn’t about the tech, it’s about the insights our team can deliver with the tools and data that are often under utilised.
