Scott Rhodie to head HotHouse’s new digital PR agency

Scott RhodieAustralian interactive agency HotHouse is to launch a digital PR and social media practice and has hired Scott Rhodie, formerly at Zing PR, to head up the operation.   

The new agency does not yet have a name.  

Rhodie – who started out as a tabloid journalist on The Sun newspaper in Scotland before moving into PR – has been heavily involved in Sydney’s social media scene for some time. He is one of the organisers of the weekly Friday night #SHTBOX (Surry Hills Twitter Beer Exchange) gatherings.

At Zing he worked across clients including Lego, McDonald’s, Optus and Toshiba. Prior to that he worked at Pulse and Network PR.
