Special Group uses satirical taxi hotline ads in first consumer marketing push from Ingogo
Taxi and mobile payments provider Ingogo has rolled out its first consumer advertising campaign with the firm encouraging Australians to ditch the phone and use technology to book a cab.
The targeted campaign, created by Special Group is running across outdoor, digital and radio in Sydney, and involves a satirical promotion of a 1300 Ingogo hotline, “the number to call if you don’t have the Ingogo taxi booking app”.
The campaign, developed by creative agency Special Group, with Match Media the media agency and Launch Group supporting on PR and communications, will run until August.
I can’t seem to find UberX on the app?
Well they’re definitely special.
I use the phone to book cabs so I can pay cash and don’t end up locked into the exorbitant surcharges that the app’s charge. It may be ‘old school’ but it saves me getting rorted.
sorry Jeff, but you have been sold a crock here….who can understand this cryptic nonsense
Complicated
Oh! This is the campaign that should have occurred three years ago…
Is there an app for Sydney taxis that aren’t rude, smelly, worn-out, dirty or a rip-off?
Oh yeah – it’s UberX.
When taxi’s give themselves a makeover people may want to catch them.
