Streem announces major collab with Google Cloud
Media monitoring platform Streem has announced a major collaboration with Google Cloud to advance its AI capabilities, Mumbrella can reveal.
Streem will integrate Google Cloud’s Gen AI models to strengthen its platform for PR and communications professionals, combining its media intelligence with the power of technology.
It aims to unlock a host of meaningful AI, automation, and workflow tools designed to save time, add value, and enrich insights.
Said to introduce the next step in media intelligence, the 2025 AI product suite will underpin the value of a media teams’ daily work – helping new and existing clients across Australia and New Zealand.
“Streem has approached AI with a focus on enabling and reinforcing the role of media teams through smart, deep AI tooling that adds value to our customer’s busy jobs,” said Leon Hudson, managing director at Streem.
“We’re confident our AI product suite will be a game-changer for all customers and reflects deep thought in applying AI tools to media monitoring, analysis and journalist outreach.”
Through three key areas, the platform will move to service an even larger section of the market.

AI-powered Workflows: Simplifying and automating common tasks and adding conversational tools within Streem to enable significant time savings for PR and comms professionals.

AI Insights: Helping customers to extract detailed commentary and thematics across large clusters of local and global media coverage, summarising and visualising for presentation within a new and enhanced instant insights package.

Predictive Analytics: Enabling teams to analyse data at scale to drive targeted press responses that impact their earned media performance.

The soon-to-be-released AI product suite adds to the media monitoring platform’s existing AI Pitches, proprietary React Score, and Summarisation tools that already launched to customers this year.
Streem will release new products later this quarter and into next year across Australia and New Zealand.
