Supercheap Auto throws back to the 1970s as it attempts to create a ‘movie-quality’ commercial

Supercheap Auto has released its annual ‘movie trailer’ campaign, this time featuring YouTube stars Blair Joscelyne and Martin Mulholland – the Mighty Car Mods.

The car brand said the ad fuses 1970s-style Hollywood action movie motifs with stadium super trucks and the YouTube stars to “deliver a movie-quality experience”.

Created by Gold Coast-based agency The Dreamers, the ’70s-inspired ad features trucks performing manoeuvres, stunts, jumps and river crossings.
