Ten’s Big Bash out-rated by ABC’s 7.30 Summer and Nine’s Customs
Audiences for Ten’s Big Bash have slipped back after peaking on Monday night with an metro audience of 1.06m tuning in for the Super Over with last night’s match gaining an audience of audience of 682,000 metro viewers for session two.
The first innings of the match between the Hobart Hurricanes and the Melbourne Renegades had 552,000 viewers, delivering Ten an audience share of 14.1 per cent.
Session two of the match was the most watched show amongst the 16 -39 demographic but could not compete with Nine’s audiences for day two of the test match between Australia and India which saw 1.017m metro viewers tune in for session three, which claimed the honours of being the most watched non-news show for Wednesday.
Session two was watched by 838,000 and session one had an audience of 716,000. The Cricket Show during the lunch break pulled a crowd of 633,000.
I reckon they’re losing viewers in Qld and SA as they will not show it live on either TEN or One HD. Especially when the Radio stations call it live.
