The 2026 Australian Lamb ad proves Aussies are happy, via Droga5 ANZ

Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA) has released its 2026 Australian Lamb campaign, which endeavours to reclaim the nation’s status as one of the happiest places in the world.

Prompted by news released in March 2025 that Australia is ranked 11th in the list of the world’s happiest countries — its first ever slip from the top 10 — the platform’s 3-minute film argues Australia should have its position reinstated.

Sam Kekovich returns for the project, using his position as “lambassador” to kick-start an audit by the International Happiness Auditors”. His staff accompany the auditors as they partake in Australian experiences: for example, holding a platypus or walking through a backyard where “sporting equipment doubles as bins”.
