The Iconic’s digital treasure hunt has returned for another year, beginning today.
The announcement:
Australia and New Zealand’s leading fashion and lifestyle platform, THE ICONIC, has announced the return of their digital treasure hunt after the overwhelming success in its inaugural year. Kicking off on Monday, April 7th, and running for five days until Friday, April 11th, THE ICONIC will hide 25 coveted high-end products, collectively valued at $12,000, across its app and website. The first customer to find the item, add it to their basket, and check out will successfully purchase it for the incredible $1 price.
First launching in 2024 as an extension of THE ICONIC’s eye-catching ‘Got You Looking’ masterbrand campaign, the treasure hunt captivated customers with an impressive 250 million product impressions (an average of 49 million daily), marking a 10% increase in the site’s daily average impressions.
This year the treasure hunt returns following the successful launch of the next iteration of the ‘Got You Looking’ campaign, developed in collaboration with Dentsu Creative and Love Media.
HOW DOES THE TREASURE HUNT WORK?
Each day, a cryptic clue will be released via the app between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM AEST to guide customers in finding the five items available that day, each hidden behind distinct, bold imagery.
Items hidden and available to snap up for $1, will include designer fashion and accessories from Cendre, Saint Laurent and COS; sporting essentials from adidas and The North Face; beauty goods from Make Up For Ever, Benefit, Lancôme, Prada and GHD; homewares from Georg Jenson, Samsonite and more. There will even be a pre-loved designer handbag from Azura Reborn, a TheraFace facial mask and a Cuisinart Air Fryer.
WHEN WILL THE TREASURE HUNT TAKE PLACE?
The treasure hunt will commence on Monday, April 7th, 2025 and continue for five consecutive days (last day is Friday, April 11th, 2025).
HOW TO TAKE PART?

2. Find the clues:a. Each day between 10:00am – 11:00am (AEST) a clue will be released exclusively on THE ICONIC app. Each clue will reveal the location of the treasures, but NOT what the items are.
b. All 5 items will be hidden in the same location, but will not be on the same catalog page.3. Hunt for hidden treasure:
a. At 1pm AEST each day, use the clue to start looking at the 5 items.
b. The items will be hidden behind distinct, bold imagery you won’t be able to miss.4. Spot the image, grab the deal: Once you spot an item, add the product to your bag and complete the $1 purchase before it’s gone. First in, best dressed!
