Ex-Ogilvy exec named MD of The Do Collective
Creative agency The Do Collective has welcomed an ex-Ogilvy Australia leader into its fold as managing director.
Nathan Quailey was revealed as the agency’s MD, tasked with leading the company’s creative impact, commercial success and strategic direction.
With his appointment coming into effect immediately, the former chief growth officer at Ogilvy will be based out of the agency’s Sydney office. He’ll report to Ben Walker — the agency’s director and founder.
“It’s a real coup for us to have someone of Nathan’s expertise, strategic mindset and commitment to results among The Do Collective’s leadership team,” Walker said in a media release.
“He brings a wealth of marketing and agency experience to our clients, along with a track record for leading high-performing teams.

Nathan Quailey
Quailey worked for more than a decade at Ogilvy Australia. While there, he served in the organisation’s leadership team, and on top of being the CGO, filled the positions of business director and general manager (at Ogilvy Sydney).
He has worked with Hyundai, KFC, Coca-Cola, ING and Vodafone among other clients.
“I’m pretty excited to be joining Ben, [Head of Experiential] Corey [Clarke} and The Do Collective team at such a pivotal time for the business,” Quailey said in a release.
“My experience over so many years in this industry lies in helping organisations build profile and team culture that leads to growth and forging strategic alliances that drive success.
“The independent agency scene at the moment is thriving, so I’m looking forward to bringing my experience, passion and my client-focused leadership style to The Do Collective to help guide our growth.”
Quailey’s appointment occurs over one month after the full-service creative agency revealed that it expanded its operations and presence into the Middle East. The company’s Dubai office makes it its fourth, with the other offices being located in London, Melbourne and Sydney.
