Google Australia boss Maile Carnegie to depart for new role as ANZ head of digital

Google Australia boss Maile Carnegie is to depart for a role at ANZ as head of digital, after almost three years in her current role.

Carnegie’s departure was announced this afternoon by ANZ’s Blue Notes website, with president of Google Asia Pacific, Karim Temsamani, to step in until a replacement is found.

Maile will be a member of the bank’s Group Executive Committee and have responsibility for marketing including ANZ’s brand, advertising and sponsorship.
