Moon Week: Humans are ace. Really ace
Three Drunk Monkeys have created this line animation ad to tell the story of man’s first trip to the Moon, using a voiceover from Amercian scientist Ted Maynard.
The work, backed by a radio campaign is to promote subscription channel BBK Knowledge’s Moon Week, which kicks off on Monday to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the Apollo landing.

Yep, agree. Saw it during Torchwood the other night and actually rewound my iQ to watch it again. Thought is was ace. Really ace.
Simple is beautiful! This is a great example of how to create a simple (and comical) message and yet deliver maximum amount of info at the same time. Simply awesome! 5 stars!
Lovely. In every way.
It’s very nice and all but did it really take so many people to put this animation together? I really hope that’s a credit list for a bigger campaign.
“Channel 619″… really rolls off the tongue, that one!
Lovely spot. Well done Monkeys.
Yep, I saw it a couple of days ago and did exactly the same thing. Beautiful, simple and entertaining. Well done to all (thousand) of you.
Standout stuff. Excellent
Brilliant.
Love it. Lovely tonality, shows respect and humour, avoids cliche.
Well done, but another well trodden path the monkey’s are walking down. Animate to an original VO.
Time to get original kids.
eg. The recent Cannes winning spots for The Sundance TV Channel, the original BBC work from Tomato, the D&DA Entries featuring Droga, 180’s adidas work… you get the picture.
I like it.
But it’s the same execution that CommonCraft.com do for all their clients.
Fun and educational!
