Ooh Media creates product sales and partnerships team

Ooh Media has tapped Initiative’s Mel Duffy to lead a new product sales and partnerships team.

Duffy will lead a newly created 11-strong specialist team, reporting to chief product and marketing officer, Bel Harper. This restructure brings Ooh’s creative innovation hub Poly, and its product and partnerships teams together, under the guidance of Harper.

The new team is comprised of Jamie Gill and Chloe Swinton (airport and office); Bill Athanassiou and Samantha Stewart (street furniture and rail); Donna Tauro and Jessica MacDonald (retail); Jenna D’Auvergne and Brittany Simpson (large format); and Nicole Pennells and Sophie Bray (partnerships).

The new team.

Harper said in an announcement the team was “hand-picked based on their deep product and media knowledge and ability to articulate value and benefits to our customers”.

This reshuffle follows a number of recent portfolio wins, including Waverley, Manly, and Northern Beaches Councils, Sydney Metro and Melbourne Metro tunnels, and Transurban Melbourne and Brisbane.

Duffy joins Ooh Media as its head of product sales and partnerships. She was most recently client partner on IAG at Initiative, and has previously worked at Hearts and Science, Mindshare, Mediacom, and Carat. She has also previously done at stint at Ooh.

Duffy said: “I am thrilled to be back home at oOh!. Being able to lead product sales and partnerships in executing customer focused strategies that drives growth for our clients, and our business, has me feeling incredibly energised.

“Further to this, deep product expertise is immensely valuable to our clients in this ever changing Out of Home landscape. It is through such specialist knowledge that the greatest opportunities arise for our clients. I am excited for what’s to come.”
