Qantas’ latest safety video stars everyday Aussies in well-known tourist spots
Qantas and Tourism Australia have unveiled the 2017 Qantas safety video featuring safety demonstrations by everyday Australians across some of the country’s well-known destinations.
The campaign is the first collaboration since Qantas and Tourism Australia signed a $20m marketing deal in August last year.
In January last year the national carrier launched its first collaboration with Tourism Australia which went viral.

Qantas has done it again! They’ve created a safety video at enormous expense so incredibly dull that no one will watch it. Perhaps opportunism has taken over and making a quid out of a tourism partnership is more important than actually ensuring people watch and understand the safety guidelines. They seem to fail in spades trying as they do to emulate the lead taken by Air New Zealand who do get it. They always entertain and educate at the same time. But then again Air NZ is a marketing led organisation and Qantas definitely isn’t.
