Howatson+Co, Thinkerbell and more shortlisted for the 2024 Mumbrella Awards
The shortlist for this year’s Mumbrella Awards has been announced, with a strong force of industry professionals, brands and agencies in the running to win.
2023 winner Howatson+Company is storming into this year’s ceremony with fifteen nominations for: Mumbrella Award for Culture; Mumbrella Award for Insight; Mumbrella Award for Innovation; Mumbrella Award for Data – Driven Marketing; Mumbrella Award for Collaboration (with the agency having received two nominations for this category); Ad Campaign of the Year; TV Ad of the Year; Content Marketing Strategy of the Year; Social Idea of the Year; Under-30 Achiever of the Year; Best Use of Retail Media; Creative Agency of the Year; Independent Agency of the Year; and Full Service Agency of the Year.

Meanwhile, Thinkerbell has also returned to the Mumbrella Awards arena with nine nominations.
The agency is in the running for the categories: the above mentioned Mumbrella Award for Culture; Social Idea of the Year; Best Use of Experiential Marketing; Creative Agency of the Year; PR Agency of the Year; Independent Agency of the Year; Full Service Agency of the Year; and two nominations for Best Influencer Strategy – a brand new category introduced this year.
As always, the award nominations are not solely focused on creative and media agencies. Production companies and industry professionals will also have a chance to see their work spotlighted before their peers.
This year, Revolver, Jack Nimble, Infinity Squared, FINCH, Clockwork Films, and Chisel are up for Production Company of the Year.
As for individuals, the Under-30 Achiever of the Year and Industry Leader of the Year award categories are returning with a slew of industry talent.
For 2024, Howatson+Company’s chief media officer, Sasha Smith, Tracksuit’s head of marketing, Mikayla Hopkins, Ryvalmedia’s head of product and innovation, Jonathan Henshaw, Wavemaker’s group strategy director, Danielle Davies, and Hatched’s performance director, Clare Farrugia, are nominated for Under-30 Achiever of the Year.
And Industry Leader of the Year is a five-way battle between Wavemaker’s chief executive officer, Peter Vogel, Think HQ’s founder and managing director, Jen Sharpe, The Media Store’s chief operating officer, Jacquie Alley, alt/shift/’s chief executive officer and co-founder, Elly Hewitt, and Match & Wood’s chief operating officer, Christopher O’Keefe.
