The Core Agency rebrands with branding skills front and centre

The Core Agency – an indie branding and creative agency – has marked its 17th birthday with a rebrand.

The agency’s rebrand is built atop its ‘Punch Above’ positioning, and was developed to symbolise its work attributes, values and branding expertise.

The rebrand introduces a new messaging, a hand-drawn logo (in reference to The Core Agency’s detail-oriented nature), “punchy graphics” and visuals, and a fresh colour palette.

Indie brand consultant, Richie Meldrum, collaborated with the business’s team to hone the rebrand from the perspective of an outsider.

“Advertising remains central to what we do, but we’re increasingly getting recognised for our branding work,” commented Christian Finucane, The Core Agency’s creative partner and founder.

“With the team creating three new brands last year, it was exciting to see them work their magic on our own brand.”

“I’m definitely guilty of being too close to our brand, so it was great to bring in Richie’s fresh perspective – the same way we do for our clients,” added Rebecca Turner, The Core Agency’s managing partner.

“I wholeheartedly believe our team and work Punch Above, and now our branding does too.”
