Rocket Comms wins pitch for Hawke’s Brewing Co’s PR account
Independent brewery Hawke’s Brewing Co. has appointed Rocket Comms to lead its public relations, following a competitive pitch process.
Rocket Comms will continue to build the popular beer brand, with an increased focus on the brewery’s inner-West bar and restaurant, the Bob Hawke Beer and Leisure Centre, through media famils, earned media placements, special events, influencers, and social media amplification.
“Engaging with a PR agency aligns with our strategic business goals. In a short period of time Rocket Comms has already enabled us to further amplify our brands stories, reach new audiences and reinforce Hawke’s quality brewing credentials as well as the exceptional hospitality offering at the Bob Hawke’ Beer and Leisure Centre, with both trade and consumer communities,” said Hawke’s Brewing Co.’s head of marketing, Kate Sorensen.
“With a shared vision and values, we are excited to continue working with Rocket Comms following an impressive start to the year across our brand offerings.”
Rachel Robertson, Rocket Comms director, added: “Hawke’s is an iconic and innovative brewery producing award-winning beers as well as offering a ‘one of a kind’ brewery venue experience along with their delicious ‘Lucky Prawn’ restaurant – prawn toast anyone?
“The internal team are amazing collaborators and creative thinkers and we look forward to expanding the reach of the Hawke’s brand into a truly national brand, creating awareness about their quality beer portfolio, as well as further cementing the brewery venue as a ‘must do’ in NSW.”
